2020 GO WilMa! Outdoor Adventure Program

GO WilMa! is an exciting and entertaining summer outdoor adventure program that encourages children in the Willistown and Malvern area to explore the natural and historic treasures of our region through a series of scavenger hunts. Kids and their families and friends participate on their own schedule throughout the summer. Registration is limited to Willistown Township and Malvern Borough AREA residents only. The AREA includes Malvern Borough, Willistown Township, East Whiteland and East Goshen Townships, and many other townships and boroughs represented by patrons of Malvern and Paoli Libraries. Our annual theme for GO WilMa!, based on the National Summer Reading Program’s Imagine Your Story, is Get Outside for Inspiration! Grab your friends and neighbors to Get Outside around Willistown and Malvern this summer on an outdoor adventure like no other. This year, your child will receive our Electronic GO WilMa! Field Guide—a passport of sorts. The Guide includes scavenger hunt clues leading to hidden “Inspiration Stations” in our local landscape. Each Station will highlight wonderful landscapes that provide settings for our lives and the stories of our imaginations.

Kids and their adults will have a blast exploring our special area of the globe. The program ends the day after Labor Day, and the Willistown Township Parks and Recreation Department will contact you if you are lucky winner in our prize drawing. Willistown Parks and Recreation is very grateful to our Inspiration Station hosts: East Goshen Township, East Whiteland Township, Historic Sugartown, Malvern Borough, Natural Lands, Paoli Battlefield, Willistown Conservation Trust, and Willistown Township—thank you!
